Small Group Personal Training in Abu Dhabi

Small group training is the most cost-effective way to work with a coach in Abu Dhabi, and in the villa communities — Khalifa City, Al Raha Gardens, Yas Acres, Saadiyat — it is also the most socially natural. Two to five neighbours, friends or family members, one coach, one shared rate.

The distinction that matters is between a small group session and a class. In a class everyone does the same thing. In our small groups each participant is assessed individually and runs their own progression; the coach manages the session so that a beginner and someone two years in can train in the same hour without either being poorly served. That is the entire justification for the format costing more than a gym class.

Attendance also behaves differently in a group. Individual training is easy to cancel quietly; a session with three neighbours who are already outside is not. For clients whose main obstacle is consistency rather than knowledge, the group format solves the actual problem.

Sessions run in a villa garden, a compound facility, a building gym or a shared outdoor space, and the coach brings equipment for the whole group.

Frequently asked

How much does small group training cost per person?

The session rate is shared across the group, so per person it falls well below individual coaching — the more participants, the lower each share. Exact figures depend on group size and block length; the pricing page has the detail.

What if we are at very different fitness levels?

That is the normal case and the format is built for it. Everyone is assessed separately and works to their own loads and progressions within a shared session structure. Nobody is held back and nobody is pushed beyond what their assessment supports.

What is the maximum group size?

Five. Beyond that a coach cannot correct technique reliably, and the session stops being personal training and becomes a class. We would rather run two groups than compromise that.
