One-to-one coaching for Saadiyat Beach Villas, Mamsha Al Saadiyat, HIDD Al Saadiyat, Jawaher and Saadiyat Lagoons — with the assessment done before a single set is programmed.
REPs UAE Registered Coaches • Equipment Brought To You • Free Bio Performance Assessment
Saadiyat is one of the few places in Abu Dhabi where the training environment is genuinely an advantage rather than an obstacle. You have a long stretch of open beach, the Mamsha promenade, mature landscaped parkland between the villa clusters, and residents gyms that are — unusually for the city — actually well equipped. The problem is almost never access. It is that most people here are working around a schedule built by someone else: a faculty calendar, a museum opening, a board meeting on the mainland, a Thursday night flight out of AUH.
That is the constraint we build around. BYLDUP coaches travel to you on Saadiyat with the equipment the session needs, which means training happens inside the twenty-five minutes you actually control rather than the ninety minutes a gym trip would take. For residents of Saadiyat Beach Villas and Saadiyat Lagoons that usually means the villa gym or the garden. For Mamsha Al Saadiyat and Soul Beach residents it is typically the building facility or the promenade itself.
Every engagement opens with Bio Performance Testing — range of motion through the major joints, postural loading pattern, dynamic balance, left-to-right strength symmetry, and core endurance under time. On Saadiyat that assessment catches a very consistent pattern: a strong aerobic base from beach running and cycling, paired with genuinely poor thoracic rotation and hip extension from long desk hours. Programming that ignores the second half of that picture is how people here end up with a persistent lower back complaint by year two.
Most villas here have either a dedicated gym room or a garage and garden footprint that works well for loaded carries, kettlebell complexes and conditioning. We bring adjustable kettlebells, TRX, bands, boxing pads and mats; you supply the floor space. Sessions run at whatever hour suits — 5:30am starts before the school run are the most requested slot on the island.
The residents gyms along Mamsha are more than adequate for serious strength work: free weights, cable stations and enough bench space to run a proper session. We program directly around the equipment your building actually has, confirmed before the first session rather than discovered on the day.
For conditioning blocks, sand work and pre-season athletic prep, the beach is the best training surface in the emirate. Soft-sand intervals load the posterior chain and the foot and ankle complex in a way no treadmill reproduces. We run these October through April; in high summer everything moves indoors without exception.
Larger plots, private pools and generous garden space. This is where we most often run combined strength and swim conditioning blocks, and where family sessions — couples, or a parent training alongside a teenager — are most practical.
Academic and museum schedules are front-loaded and unpredictable. We build three-session weeks that survive a conference trip, with a travel protocol that needs no equipment and holds strength gains for up to three weeks away.
The Saadiyat commute plus a full day seated produces the hip flexor and upper-cross pattern we see more than any other. Postural rehabilitation runs alongside strength work from week one rather than being bolted on after an injury.
Pre- and postnatal programming with genuine progression — deep core and pelvic floor restoration first, then loaded strength — with the villa as the venue so childcare is never the reason a session is missed.
Yes. We run private in-home training across Saadiyat Beach Villas and Saadiyat Lagoons. Your coach registers with the gatehouse ahead of the first session; after that, entry is routine. Training happens in your villa gym, garage, garden or the community facility, whichever suits the program that day.
We run beach sessions from roughly October to April, and in the early morning only during the shoulder months. Soft-sand conditioning is excellent for the posterior chain and ankle stability, so we use it heavily in season. From May to September every session moves indoors — training people outdoors in an Abu Dhabi summer is not a programming decision we are willing to make.
No. We confirm exactly what your building has before session one and write the program against that inventory, supplementing with the kit your coach brings. A well-programmed session with adjustable kettlebells, bands and suspension outperforms an unstructured hour in a fully equipped commercial gym.
Sessions run between AED 280 and AED 450 depending on block size and whether you train alone or as a pair. Full package detail is on our pricing page, and the initial assessment is free whether or not you go on to train with us.

Your first session in Saadiyat Island is a free 45-minute Bio Performance assessment — joint range, postural loading, balance, strength symmetry and core endurance, written up and sent to you afterwards. You are under no obligation to train with us after it.
